good clean place and good standard food with very nice presentation. We went for lunch on a Sunday and the place was booming – always a good sign. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Cheers guys!

Ehh it was pretty average. As soon as we entered was fairly crowded and we felt lucky we had made a reservation! Ordered meal and drinks quickly and didn’t have to wait too long for our food. I ordered a pad thai with the vegetarian tofu option, however was a bit offended when I realized they had still used fish sauce, so I did not finish my meal. Our experience kind of went downhill from there when we had no one come to take our plates for at least an hour so we decided to just go and pay ourselves. Probably won’t be returning anytime.

Best restaurant in Nelson! Family friendly, delicious menu, great selection, excellent service and inexpensive. Been in Nelson for 9 years now and we just keep going back, for lunch and dinner, the kids love it!

Nice place for lunch!

My family and I visit Chokdee about every 3 weeks. The food is ALWAYS superb. There menu is very extensive and they also have a decent wine menu. The staff at Chokdee are incredibly efficient and always professional. Whether it be a quiet weekday or New Year’s Eve, the quality of the food and standard of service is always excellent.

The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the interior of the restaurant is a little dark. Sandy
