Went for lunch today.Had the paella and it was great.
Authentic and very enjoyable . Lovely fresh salad .
Great place to go for lunch and no waiting.
Finished with a decadent Spanish hot chocolate, rich and hot!
And a great lemon slice
Service friendly
Would recommend the paella, prob advisable to book as we got the last servings

Very similar experience to Bradley’s (see below)- Firstly there is no menu board/sign telling you how the Paella side of things work, i had to ask which isn’t ideal, For $12 you get some paella a small slice of bread and a side salad, although the food wasn’t too bad it was however quite bland. I expected a bit more of the paella being their new signature dish. The service was good as was the coffee, i don’t like giving a bad review to a cafe trying to do something a bit different but they need to lift there game.

Had lunch here with my work collegues and was excited about trying the new paella but was very disappointed overall it was over cooked and tasted bland. Worst of all for $12.50 you get a small scoop and it comes with a small piece of bread and a token salad.I left there still very hungry. Hard to move in the cafe with tables and chairs crammed together with no real flow. Service could have been better. There are several better cafes to go too in the surrounding area, i won’t be returning.

Went there for the first time since Cilantro has changed over to specialising in paella.
I ordered two flat whites ( they were so strong, almost undrinkable) one chorizo paella with Caesar sald ( as recommended by the chef) and a warm mixed salad of roasted vegetables and kumara.
What we got was paella with roasted vegetables. Mine had been completely forgotten. When it did arrive it was cold not warm as requested.
To make space for the new counter the seating area is now jammed too close togther. They could do with losing a table

Service has never been that friendly, it is no better now I’m sorry to say so will be giving it a miss in future.

Went to cilantro this morning for breakfast Thinking of ordering an all day breakfast generally on most breakfast menus however in this case not , instead a very complicated menu having to order everything as sides , waitress clearly was not listening as returned to check what we had just ordered and cafe were clearly out of stock as seen chef walk out then return with a bag of tomato’s not really a very good look. When meals both arrived they were certainly not as ordered one meal had been served with HAM!!!! A few shrivelled pieces of Ham what! about bacon and eggs means i wanted Ham! and meal was missing the tomato side ordered , instead it was piled on other meal and was clearly the whole bag of tomato’s seen earlier being bought piled on to make meal seen larger as quantities of other sides were minuscule in comparison. We were however offered a side of bacon instead of the ham but by time had arrived had more or less finshed my meal of eggs not exactly the idea of a bacon and eggs meal and to be simply explained by staff as confusion . Very poor service and meals overall
A simple meal of bacon and eggs is surely not too hard to get right!!!

Went here for lunch and I can definitely recommend the kumara and bacon cakes. I’m still baffled by how they managed to poach my eggs in a perfect egg shape (as if they still had their shell on!) We finished with the brownie which was the best I’ve had, delicious. Friendly service too
