By far the BEST coffee in Akaroa! Don’t forget to try the lemon curd cakes! The akaroa cinema is something special and not to be missed. The young couple who run the place were very friendly, I enjoyed talking to them. It seemed to be a popular place with the locals too. I will definitely return and highly recommend it.

The cinema is great- however the service leaves alot to be desired. The coffee was horrible and the cafe assistant took offence at being told it was burnt. She sat on a chair behind the counter with her lap top- and this reflected in the service. Wont be back
