Takeaways – portions were small and food wasn’t very flavorsome

Valentines day ruined because of the service at this restaurant. Waited 45mins for the main course to arrive. Other customers who arrived after us had already received their food. Spoke to the manager twice about not having our food arrived but we were told “another 5 mins”.
The entree was not what we expected. Just a flat meat on a stick.
Would definitely not go there again.

Perhaps we struck a bad night. One friend worked for both Singapore & Malaysian airlines for many years & I lived in Singapore so we have eaten hundreds of Asian meals between us.
We found our meals lacking brightness of flavor and colour.
The mixed entree was fine but our 4 mains were all over seasoned with soy and consequently brown all over. Not a vary appetising look. Tasted okay but salty. Chicken Nasi Goring didn’t have much chicken. Sorry, but we were disappointed.

Excellent food at Cinta! We ordered the mixed platter as an entree. It came with prawn skewers, chicken satay, mini spring rolls and prawn crackers and was very tasty. For mains we ordered the BBQ Pork Fried Rice (which my little boy thoroughly enjoyed) as well as the Chef’s Special which was a Chunky Beef and Potato Curry. The curry was absolutely delicious, just the right amount of chilli and incredibly satisfying. Accompanied by fresh rotis we were really happy with our meals. Service was friendly, polite and efficient. We will definitely be back for more!

This is a cute wee place and the food is delicious. We ordered some dishes to share and weren’t disappointed. Try the beef rendang, it’s hot and the meat melts in you mouth. Tasty roti and the cheapest wine list I’ve seen in a long long time (and the wines are quality – Mt Difficulty etc). I’ll be back for sure!
A favourite of ours, Cinta never disappoints. Great food (you have to try the sambal eggplant), good service, great price.
The restaurant is small and quaint and the byo option means you can bring along some great wines.
Cinta is the place I take my out of town friends and family when they come to visit. Good, honest authentic food.

This is our favourite local restaurant and I hesitate to recommend it in case I have trouble getting a table. It is wonderful, really friendly service with delicious food. The Butter Prawns are legendary as is the Sambal Eggplant.

I have eaten here countless times. Always gorgeous food. Can highly recommend the eggplant sambal and fish with okra. Yum yum yum. The roti could be a bit better though. But otherwise wonderful with very friendly staff.
We ate here in late November and I they managed to get a table for us at short notice as the restaurant was fully booked. The food is probably the best I have eaten in Auckland for some time and the service was excellent. We had a variety of entrees, main courses and fried rice and everything was so delicious.
Cinta Special chicken was awesome!
A bit on the expensive side when compared to other Malaysian eateries n you get no chinese tea (Shame on you considering I know you are Chinese Malaysian)! Menu is more extensive than its rivals but the pricing is obviously aimed at the Kiwi market
