No booking – walk in off the street – warmly greeted although we entered first prior to another group and they were going to be served first but we did correct them.

Had a bar table as the restaurant was packed and fully booked for the night. Had a choice of two. We sat in the corner.
Had two mock tails – which were great way to have a little something special without having an alcoholic drink. Waitress did apologise for the delay in the drinks coming to the table

We settled for the Shank Pizza – vegetarian and the pumpkin gnocchi. And a side order of shoestring fries and a garden salad.
Well presented meals and very enjoyable. Tasty food. The pizza was exceptional. Good to see some restaurants offering a vegetarian choice of meals – more could be done.

The waitress was extremely friendly – best I have seen in a long while. Made you feel really welcome and wanting you to have a great time.

Wow! …. wow. Amazing food, very inventive. Excellent service. I always say the test of a restaurant is whether I would go back again and I simply can’t wait. Highlights were the parmesan crusted mushrooms with huloumi and the creme brulee. The brulee was to die for, you can’t go to Clink and not try it. Well done!

Been to Clink twice recently, once for Brunch and once for afternoon lunch. Love the setting and decor. Toilets very good. Service is ok, not great at times. Food can be nice but the portion size can be very disappointing depending on what you order. For Brunch i ordered the big breakfast and was disappointed with the small amount of bacon and Mushrooms. You don’t expect to be left hungry after the big breakfast. I wish i’d ordered the Risotto. At the lunch i ordered the Vension but it was entree size only, no vegetables. Left hungry again. They do have it as a entree for dinner for three dollars less. Lunch needs something else. We never got approached for desert or coffee and it was only 1/4 full. Not good enough. Love to go back but the small portions of some dishes is a real worry. Could be great.

Initially we held out great hopes with a very friendly greeting and welcoming atmosphere. We caught them on a busy night and it took a really long time to have our meal. 1 hour to get the mains, 1 hour to get the dessert. The waitress did apologise saying they were unexpectedly busy. The food I can only rate as average. Nothing stood out. My eye fillet was a little overcooked and quite cool by the time it got to the table. The cocktails were below average. It’s a new place so maybe a couple of bugs to be ironed out. I really do miss Mu Bar and Seasonz restaurants!! (pre earthquake days)

We have been to Clink for Lunch and Dinner. Very Friendly Staff and the meals were amazing. I had the pan fried fish and it was beautiful and excellently cooked. My Partner and Sister shared a Pizza and remarked on it being delicious This Restaurant is easily the best we have been to in Christchurch.

Went to Clink New Years day for late breakfast and early Lunch. The staff were great, friendly and laid back. We had a starter of breads pickle, and dipping vinegar, followed by pan seared steak with harissa sauce and mescalin salad. The steak was cooked to perfection and was as tender as anything. For desert we had frangipani tart and lemon tart both mouth wateringly excellent. The price reasonable. Highly recommended and worth a visit
