I really enjoyed the food here. Went for lunch 2x with vouchers purchased online. Enjoyed their vegetarian platter. More than enough for 2, a little oily but nice flavours. Sauces accompanying were fine. The next day I had the MUGAL KESARI BIRYANI that was so lovely. Its complexity of flavours lingered on my tongue. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was pleasant although a little dark in the back part of the restaurant. Service was good. The friendly patrons chatted openly with other tables and discussing their food choices left me with a sense of the community spirit in Christchurch. I would return.

I 1st tried Corianders at the Rolleston store. It is the best Indian that I have had anywhere in NZ (or Australia). The Edgeware stores food is just as good but the decor isn’t as relaxing as Rolleston. Service was excellent in both places. This place is a MUST TRY for any true Indian connoisseurs.

Really good Indian. Out of all the Indian’s in Chch second only to South of India.
The best Indian I have had for many years – NZ, India and overseas. Great food, flavour and service. The fluffiness of the basamati rice is not found in many Indian restaurants and shows the care they take in all dishes.
We are going back tonight. I found the service was excellent, food was the best Indian in Christchurch, setting lovely easy parking.
Will try and eat there often.Try it for yourself

My family and I eat there often. Although the tables can be small, the staff are always polite and very helpful. They clear the tables quickly and always bring drinks out promptly. The food is delicious, and cooked to your taste. All staff are very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. The Mango Lassi drink is a must. We will continue to go back regularly.

My wife and I ate here on our last night in Christchurch. It had very good food, very reasonable prices, and good service. I’d recommend this to anyone who likes Indian food.

Bit of a problem that we drank them out of Kingfisher Strong pretty early on, but the staff handled a group of 21 people really well.
We recommend this location quite happily.
