On the menu at The Cozy Corner, you’ll find Surf & Turf featuring rib eye steak, scallops and prawns; also dishes of porterhouse, T-bone, lamb rack; best South Island Aoraki salmon; a packed seafood platter, and more. This is a return to the favourite steak and seafood menus of old – served with great sauces and in generous portions.

The Cozy Corner Steak & Seafood, is a warm and informally friendly, not-too-large restaurant where a welcome is assured, as is the quality of the food.

And also we want to hear back from you, we all appreciate your honest feedback, because that’s really important to us.

Ordered the Surf & Turf – Very Tasty. My husband ordered the Calamari which was very tender. Our guests ordered chicken stirfy and pork stirfry which they thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant is small but very cozy. The ambience was relaxing. The only negatives : it was difficult to converse with the waitress as she struggled to understand English. The dishes took a little long to come to the table considering that we had ordered only main courses and the restaurant was not busy. There was no ice for our drinks. I would certainly recommend the food.

We discovered the place purely by accident, but it was a happy accident! The Caesar salad was just right, with all the right salty notes, and the poached egg to tone them down. The Rack of Lamb was very tasty, a bit on the rare side but that was actually ok. The seafood chowder was warm and tasty and the calamari satisfying.

We were the only two in the restaurant at the time and service was quite good, food came out of the kitchen in a timely manner and nothing was cold or too hot and the portions were just right.

Would definitely recommend checking this place out!
