The food was very good (we both got pancakes) but also very expensive for how much food we got. The restaurant has a very appealing coffee-house vibe to it, and the servers were very polite. All in all, a good, but expensive breakfast/coffee place.

They make very good, consistent and strong Allpress coffee. My favourite place to get my daily caffeine dose whilst at uni!

I ordered a latte at 4 pm. They looked like they were closing, but they still opened all the doors and didn’t put a CLOSED sign, so I went to the counter to order, there was a young lady that ignored me although I already said hi. She just kept on wiping the kitchen, and of course no smile! She looked reluctant when serving me. And right after me, there was a guy ordering a coffee and she smiled right away to him and became friendly! And the latte was terrible, I couldn’t finish it. Not recommended at all!

Just been here for the third time, I thought they would improve, but they don’t! Me n my friend couldn’t drink the coffee at all coz it was too hot. We then told them, and the strangest thing ever they said “because the weather is very hot, then the coffee is hot too.” Well, at least they put cold milk in it, without saying sorry of course. My friend is a trained barista and he even said that the coffee temperature is more than 80 degrees. Usually must be 65 degrees. Not coming back again, ever.

I heard from a friend that Craven A café serve a great coffee so when I had to go to the City for a training session (work related) I thought I better try them, so I order breakfast menu and coffee, it was so yummy, tasted like homemade one, and I was full all day.
Great Coffee, really nice breakfast with excellent service and good value for money.
