We’re locals who eat here every week (very naughtily).

We’re originally from Hamilton where, although there are the odd good Indian spots, this place beats them all.

Chicken Tikka Masala is one of our favourites but they also do a bloody good Lamb Rogan Josh.

really yum! but depends on what time you go but usually really good!

How to celebrate a 70th birthday? Well celebrate we did….

A great evening on July 14th enjoyed by each member of our party of 6 adults and 2 children! Ambience was delightful and included a bright decor – easy care polished tables – shaped wooden chairs – with a big screen TV to watch the Rugby! No sound needed.
Service was cheerful and efficient. Food was everything we could ask for and more. We ordered a Banquet for 4 which would have fed 6 and our two vegetarians had a 2 person vegetarian banquet which would have fed 4. Doggy bags were readily provided to take home the uneaten portions.

We all went back to our Parakai Motel happy and very satisfied.

A must visit addition to the cafe/ restaurant options in the Helensville area. We aim to return.

We have only good things to say about our experience at this restaurant.

From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with smiling staff.

The restaurant was warm and cosy and we didn’t have to wait very long for our food to arrive.

There was generous quantity of food and it tasted very good.

We have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

Lovely service and the best buttered chicken I have ever tried. It tastes quite devine – and definetly not a cheap thrown together recipe it has something extra to it…wish I knew what. It is worth paying an extra couple of dollars for the better quality flavour you get here.

The business has grown to a dine in restaurant now and has alcohol on the premisis. I hope to try the meal where you get a little of everything.
