Not the best curries I’ve tasted but not the worst so, nothing special about them I think. Same kinds of curries to the ones served in the malls. Service was fast and friendly (we did takeaway)
One thing that was annoying though is when we got home one of the lids on the curry was not sealed tightly enough and leaked all through the bag, dripped over my furniture.

Wow this is the best Indian food I have ever had!!!! Amazing taste and spiced perfectly. Will be going back very very soon..

This is an absolute favourite and regular choice of ours when dining out in Hamilton. Curry Pot is a consistent performer with unique and often absolutely divine flavours.
The curries vary from good to exceptional, with great South Indian choices.
Dosas are as good as I have ever had, and we always leave full (sometimes too full!) and happy.
Thoroughly recommended for great dining in an informal atmosphere. It has to be the best value out there too.

Went there for tea last weekend (BIG MISTAKE). Ordered the Chicken Curry and Samosa. We took a seat(we were the only customers there)and the waitress asked if we would like our meal all at once. She went to the back and to my surprise returned with our meal (ready in under a minute). The chicken curry must have been pre-made and reheated in the microwave. The Samosa was cold in the middle and I told the waitress. She went and REHEATED it in the microwave and it came back a slosh on the plate. I was soo shocked and disgusted . Will not be going there again. My partner had also been there before and had requested a doggy bag to take his samosa home and the waitress picked up the samosa with her hand and carried out to the back!

While the food was good (found a sharp bone in the lamb though) the service and cleanliness was thoroughly lacking.

We were seated fairly promptly but the table was sticky. They had no coke or any juices! (seriously) but they did have some flat diet coke. We asked them 2 times for water but it never came.

We were the 3rd lot of people to be seated but the restaurant quickly filled up. We waited a good 15-20 minutes for our order to be taken while we watched patrons who entered the restaurant much later get their orders taken first! We even sat there and watched other tables get bottles of water delivered to them!

The food arrived promptly after ordering and we did enjoy the meals.

The last nail in the coffin was when we were overcharged due to the waitress not referring to our order stub when putting the items into the till (she got one of the dishes wrong). We only realized after leaving and couldn’t be bothered going back.

We want a good dining experience when spending our hard earned cash out. If the owners are reading this please PLEASE sort your service issues out. Your great food deserves it. You might also want to put some sound deadening on the walls as once that place fills up it echos like crazy and makes it hard to complain to one another about the bad service ;P

Have been there several times for lunch and have taken advantage of their lunch specials also very nice hence why I keep coming back.

I have been here 3 times recently to get take away dinners. I enjoyed their food and found it very reasonably priced. The restaurant area is attractive also. I will be going back to the Curry Pot.
