Awesome tapas. Had a lovely lunch there a few weeks ago. We tried the tuna skewers which were on special and were amazing. Also tried the rosemary lamb, so tender. Great wine list, great selection of international wines. Service was informal, but still attentive.

Really liked Dida’s on Jervois Road but Dida’s in Devonport is not quite firing…..the Tapa’s were a bit too oily (and yes I understand Spanish food and Olive Oil). Think the microwave gets a good workout in the kitchen. Nothing seemed to be fresh, is all their food prepared and thawed/nuked to order? I think it might be.
Staff are ok, seems high turnover so no consistency, training a little spotty. Took quite a while to get served and place wasn’t busy.
Tables took ages to be cleared, we sat at a dirty table with the last guests dishes, had to ask to get table cleared….and then wiped, this wasn’t done automatically and bits of food were left on the table.
Wine selection is fine as you would expect being owned by Glengarrys.
A great spot for people watching in summer. Wish they would ban smokers from the outside tables though, those are the best seats and they are filthy with ash, butts and the stink (btw, the smoke invariably blows into the restaurant when the doors are open so all table outside should be non-smoking).
