Fantastic fresh, authentic and delicious food and very friendly service. What a pleasure finding this in Paraparaumu! Great menu with more than ample variety, and delivered promptly. We couldn’t recommend it more. Five stars all round.

this has to be the best Indian takeaway food in the lower north island, we have now been to Divine India six or seven times, and only once have we ordered the same dish twice( it was the butter chicken- and we only ordered it twice because it is SO damn tasty) each time we go, we are greeted by name at the door and our favourite accompaniments (breads, pickles etc.) are remembered too. we have had pretty much most of the really extensive menu, and have been really happy will each and every one of our choices. i am constantly amazed at the value for money that Divine India produces. the chunks of lamb in the korma that i had last night we incredible , large succulent chunks of lamb that just fell apart with a prod from the fork. i have no hesitation in giving this 5 stars, and i would give these guys more if i could. awesome!
There isn’t a lot of choice for curry connoisseurs on the Kapiti Coast…thank goodness for Divine India.
There is only one fault with this place… it is take-away only.
Most locals don’t even know this place is here as it is tucked away on the wrong part of Kapiti Lights. (opposite the pharmacy)
I love my curry and the owners often recommend new dishes to try. They are all excellent. I was never fond of Jalfrezi in the UK, but Divine India have changed that too, it is fantastic. Their lunch and Dinner specials are good too.

Decent enough fare but nothing really special.
Have yet to find an indian take away/restaurant in Kapiti that rivals the mighty Garam Masala in Johnsonville

Just ordered lamb rogan josh and chicken kadaai. The chicken was fabulous but unfortunately the rojan josh was full of gristle and chewy so most of it was thrown away. The garlic naan was excellent.

Just ordered from the Divine India for the first time, and wow! really really excellent food. I could taste all the different ingredients in sauce for my Achaari Lamb, including the excellent tangy bitter Indian pickles suggesting the sauce had been made from the ground up, not just a standard curry sauce with a few different spices thrown in. Truly excellent. I will be back.

Went there for the first time recently for the excellent price. The food was great and very promptly made. Highly recommended
Have gone from ‘trying’ to making sure I have it every week , thanks to Dharmesh and the team . Always get it delivered as the service is great . Totally recommend them and suggest you try a different flavour regularly

If you’re wanting an authentic Indian takeaway, with an extensive menu, I recommend Devine India. The flavours & aromas tell you it’s the real thing. They include dishes you can’t get elsewhere plus new ones get introduced from time to time. Having eaten plenty of good curry in the UK, I appreciate all these things.
They are also well located for hungry commuters & Dharmesh & family provide top service.

I have been getting my Indian Takeaways from Divine India ever since it opened. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and look foward to my weekly visit. I have introduced my adult sons and they are as impressed as I am. The food is authentic, great tasting, consistent with large portions and best of all inexpensive.
Together with the friendly husband & wife owners, what else could you wish for !

One of the best. They always remember you, and when you order an ‘Indian hot’ Vindaloo, they will give you a side of chili sauce just incase its not hot enough!!!
Awesome!
