A classic cafe!

I recently went to Dora’s and ordered my usual coffee, just the way I like it (not too complicated, just half and half). I was then told by the barista that my choice of drink was disgusting and suggested something else!
He then asked under his breath if I wanted 17 sugars, turned to his workmate and snickered as I sat in shock waiting for my coffee.

Now I know the current barista has a good reputation in the Hamilton hospo industry for making delicious coffee, this review isn’t disputing that. He just seriously needs to sort his attitude out. It is MY hard earned $4.00 that is paying for this coffee. If I requested a shot of vinegar I would expect the barista to oblige as it is what I am ordering.

I was excited when I saw the barista at Dora’s, now that I am a student in the central city I was going to make it my regular cafe. Not now.

I am SO disappointed Dora’s.

This is the café with the best coffee and muffins….Banana and chocolate….mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
The staff are friendly, the food looks delicious, they have coffee cards so you can get a freebie every 10 coffees. They have smoking and non smoking tables. The décor is quaint and is situated across the road from Wintec and close to the centre of town.
