Lovely setting, far enough off the SH1 that you wouldnt know you were that close. Lovely service, esp when we arrived an hour earlier than planned with more people than had booked! Food and coffee were lovely. We will definitely go again but will phone ahead if we are going to be later or earlier than planned! thanks to the staff for the excellent service

this place is great, the food was fantastic. I’m a vegan and my boss is a right meat eater and they catered fantastically for our polarized tastes. . We both got really good sandwiches which were huge. The bread was fresh and ingredients varied and tasty.. After our visit we decided this is was our preferred place to stop on our way through. Thanks for a great range of food top coffee and tranquil setting.

Just happened to come across this while traveling in New Zealand. Tried the date scones and cappuccino for coffee break. scones were fresh, warm and delicious with fresh whip cream and jam. so delicious stopped by five days later again and had the same. would go back again if in their beautiful country anytime soon. service was excellent. made this a habit to try scones wherever we could fine them, but none quite matched to theirs.

Last week I stopped by on my way home to the Bay of Islands and had the most delicious lemon slice, that was still freshly baked warm and crumbled with divine flavour. The best I’ve ever eaten. The service was quick and friendly and this was late afternoon. Would recommend the stop for any travellers.
