This is simply the best roadside cafe/restaurant I have visited in New Zealand, topped by the most friendly, competent and caring team you could hope for. Overall, the ambience is great and the service is really outstanding. Cant wait to go back…

I went with a party of 18 for lunch on Sunday. We had a Christmas three course set menu which included turkey and ham or lamb the food was excellent and the portions generous everyone enjoyed the meal. My mother is gluten free but it was no problem and they made her a special entree when she could not eat what was served. We were not rushed out and sat talking for some time after we had finished our meal the staff were very helpful
