Great little spot with buzz and great food in Mt Eden. Served with flair, the waiters are knowledgaebale about drinks and food, and the food is great, interesting and flavoursome. Not cheap, but an excellent lunch out in the sun or evening meeting place. Recommended.

Super local little bar. Mt Eden without the stuffiness. Yum food, good wine, toasty in winter! and nice glasses…. So much nicer drinking from a beautiful glass. Had the salmon and it was melt in mouth.

Awesome local pub, great food, beautful, smiley, happy staff, always a good experience! Couldn’t say the same about Cloak Room younger brother Post House!

Finally at last a decent affordable feel good bar that has a better than pub food menu. Service is always wonderful and because it is intimate in size there is always a happy buzz. There is something for everyone and if you ask the chef nicely he will custom make anything on the menu. A real asset to Mt Eden (Probably our best kept secret, until now)!

Good service, good food, good location.

Mini burgers and pint of chips good. Lots of beers on tap, lots of locals young and old about all times of the day. Not a place you’d drive to but worth while if you live in Mt Eden.
