Edison’s seriously need to take a good hard look at who they employee as staff and security. When we ordered the staff seemed to ignore us. We were seated a good 40minutes until we got to eat – food was average at best, and to top it off, when my bf went outside to talk to a friend passing by, security refused to let him back in claiming he was trying to start trouble. Will certainly not be returning…

Ok so I have been three times since it opened and I love the atmosphere and nice touches they make here even with the cocktails in old school milk bottles… the previous reviewer, not too sure when you went but I have working in hospo my whole life and thought the staff did really well, they knew the menu, the drinks and were on to it, I also dinned with an executive chef from Queenstown and he was really impressed with their venison main. I would recommend to anybody.

Absolutely terrible experience. From questioning our booking to leaving us sitting with no menus or water or any kind of service for a good 15mins and then only acknowledged us after I finally flagged down the waitress. The restaurant is tiny so no excuse for ignoring customers. Menu is poorly set out and the waitress did not let us know the specials that are posted on the wall on a4 bits of paper (which we saw after our meals). To top it all off there was a long 35-40mins wait for meals. I didn’t want to write a public review like this, however after no response from two emails to the owner I didn’t have much choice. Really disappointing as I had dined at lagerfield (which is what this place used to be) and really enjoyed it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I would also advise the owner/manager to take interest in what your customers have to say because without customers you will have no business.
