We dined here while staying in Queenstown for two nights (but not at the Novotel).

Staff were pleasant, food was excellent although a little expensive. In particular, the tiny whitebait fritter for $20 was a little rich.

They could also do with a different music selection from the main lobby of the hotel. There’s only so much eating you want to do to Top 40 radio.

We had a very good steak meal at this restaurant. The service was good. When we went back to this restaurant a few days later there were no staff to greet us or give us a table so we left and went elsewhere. We also noticed that the price of the steak on the new summer menu had gone up from $26 to $35 – a lot more than the GST increase (26% increase)
