A West Auckland Heritage

The Falls Hotel is an historic jewel in Waitakere’s crown. This first class setting has inspired owners Garry Bates and Alan Parry (ex London’s Ivy restaurant) and Nina Parry to bring a quality dining experience and an award-winning menu to West Auckland.

The kitchen team at The Falls Restaurant has achieved the New Zealand Beef and Lamb Hallmark of Excellence many times over and was awarded the Gold Plate award for 2006, 2007, 2008 and now again for 2009.

The wine list is phenomenally good – and with plenty of gold medal and trophy winners from here and overseas, including wines from West Auckland vineyards, there is no shortage of choice.

Voted West Auckland’s Number One Restaurant for 2008 and again for 2009

5 for brunch 6/6. If the brunch menu had been on the web sight we wouldn’t have gone.

Service fine, coffee warm not hot and in very small cups.

Food just ok, but over priced for what we got.

Not likely to go back in a hurry.

Used to pop there for a coffee and a snack after picking my son up from school and absolutely loved the place, so went there for a bite to eat one time… loved it even more… so we had our wedding reception there in January 2007 – and of course we were thrilled… so were our guests :O) Thank you Alan and team :O)

My new favourite place. Service, food, wine were all amazing. We have had lunch today, the food was superbly prepared, the service was amazing and I loved the location! All great, from calamari, mussels, steak, pinot gris, to the espresso coffee at the end! All perfect!
The chef in the kitchen knows her job!!
We are impressed by the accuracy and care for details and we will be coming back for more and more!! Their menu is full of new matching things I have never tasted before.

Everyone must go to the falls !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First time today and I am a fan!!!

Me and my husband went there for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Excellent food, warm and friendly service. They managed to book us in even at short notice. The presentation of the food is as wonderful as the taste. Good, romantic place for those special evenings, as they even have a beautiful walkway outside.
