We love this cafe. We eat here lots and have done so over the last year and love it everytime. We visit a couple of times a week usually for lunch and sometimes for evening meals. The staff are always friendly, helpful and fun and the food is always great. They do the very best nachos we’ve ever tasted. The food is always tasty and comes out quick. What a great cafe. It’s also great to find a cafe that extends its opening hours.

We often go to Fava for a coffee and lunch and have more recently been there for an evening meal. We always find the service friendly and helpful, even when the staff are incredibly busy, which is often the case. The food is delicious, with lots of options to choose from and always at the same high standard. I haven’t eaten anything there I didn’t enjoy. And the coffee is always good too. I love that there are always healthy options and that the salads are creative and delicious not just a few greens chucked together on a plate. It can get a little noisy at times but other than that it’s a fantastic place to go for coffee and cake, lunch, or a delicious dinner.
Fava has been a fav cafe for me. Not now. Today got bad advice re food from staff, food never turned up. was not vegan as they had told us so they didn’t give it to us?! Ordered hot choc with sante bar – asked for dark choc but was milk choc fallen and melted into cup. Overall slack and bad attitude. Not going back.

Arrived at the cafe, only for all the staff to ignore me, i walked right to the counter, 3 staff behind it could see me, it took someone delivering coffee’s to come back and see me to take my order.
Saturday i was charged $4.60 then today $5.10
Staff chatted about social life behind the counter loud enough for me to hear, and then didn’t even look at me when they gave the coffee.
Felt rude, and very very unfriendly
After great time on Saturday was very very disappointed today.
I have since gone back with my son and it was alot better. Better communication, and smooth service.
Will be going back again.

Love this cafe in St. Martins! Started eating here about a year ago after I’d finished a walk on the Rapaki Trail. Have kept coming back repeatedly since. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The cabinet food is delicious, healthy and varied, and the attention to detail and presentation is to be admired. The prices are quite reasonable for food this good! The Baristas know their coffee and do their job well. I enjoy drinking a variety of tea when I go out, and Fava offers a varied selection of loose leaf teas. Ah, and besides the regular dining area, there are two lovely courtyards to relax in. As a bonus, there is a local stream of musicians playing music on the weekend. Highly recommended!
