We were also the only ones for lunch as they’d had a function in the morning and were preparing for another that night. The Maitre’D had warned us on the phone that timing was tight but the guest of honour specifically requested Fernz so we pressed on.
The food was excellent and the service attentive without being intrusive. Six for lunch, everybody enjoyed their meals and they were kind enough to make garlic bread (not on that day’s menu) and bring a single brandy snap for one of the party.
We were very happy with our experience and we’ll be going back.

Oh well, we thought we would console ourselves with dessert (White chocolate Tiramisu served with berry coulis), sounded nice but again wasn’t available. At that point we left.
Not impressed at all with the food.
