The wait staff were very friendly & attentive. Deco, furniture set-up are intelligent. The food, salt & pepper squids & eye rib steak & fish we ordered for dinner were superb & delicious.
The complimentary dessert was a surprise.

We have been to Fire & Ice a number of times now and have always found it excellent value, particularly with a voucher (of which they are always very accepting – don’t make you feel like the “baggage class” diners which can be the case in other restaurants). The staff are super-friendly and bend over backwards to accommodate any (off the menu) request we have had. The food is excellent and the wine list has some very reasonable options available. Their platters are an ample meal in themselves for two and have a point of difference from your average platter. Great steaks and love their smoked venison. If you have room, try their Lime & Lemongrass Panna Cotta – it makes a superb end to a wonderful meal. It surprises me that it isn’t busier, but I guess that’s all good for us regulars!

We had a yazoom coupon to use for 2 mains, 2 wines/beers, 2 desserts. I had to go past the restaurant to find out when it was open because I wasn’t able to find out via phone or online. We read pretty nice reviews and thought it was gonna be a good trip. We were served by an older indian looking man who looked like he was the host perhaps? He let us sit wherever we wanted as it wasn’t busy and then gave us our menus. He didn’t make himself available to ask questions or order( as we already looked online we knew what we wanted straight away). He eventually came to take our order and suddenly says.. ‘ oh and the venison and the eye fillet aren’t available for the coupon’ and those were the exact two dishes we wanted to order! So he continues to tell us its not avail because of the coupon I bought( though there was no mention on it when I bought it). And as we looked confused and ask questions he switched his story to .. ‘oh no.. its because we don’t have the meat in the restaurant because we just re-opened yesterday after holidays’… so we were very suspicious and felt it was a bit odd a restaurant just wouldn’t have all of the ingredients because it just re-opened?? My boyfriend had the rib eye instead and asked if he could instead have the sides given with the unavailable fillet but the kitchen apparently refused to do so. ( not happy) and I chose the fish and chips to give a bit of variety and not order the same. When it arrived the portions and display were nice and generous but the rib eye wasn’t very tender, the frites were quite over salted, as were mine under my fish and chips and not even mentioning how extremely salty the fish was. I expected to have some kind of decent fish as the place wasn’t busy and it was a ‘nice ‘ place. The batter was quite thick and over done a bit.
So now when we looked at desserts… the same thing happened! The waiter waited till we decided and comes over to say. oh and the tiramsu isn’t available. My man wanted to have it, we that’s main and dessert that we wanted unavailable. Not a good sign. So we had the lime treacle tart and the fudge cake with walnuts. Both desserts were well portioned, with wonderful flavor and display. So that’s where they gained the last star but if not for that.. I wouldn’t bother spending 32 dollars on a main that is your second choice and isn’t great when you can go across the street to the international food court and spend 10- dollars on a great meal you know they’ll make amazing!
Overall is alright.. but pretty poor service for general availability, lack of information and slightly unimpressive mains!

Went with hubby there and had dinner, we were so full we couldn’t eat our desserts so doggy bagged them!
Had the pork belly and hubby the beef, both were great sized portions and flavour full, great location and a great overall bistro with lots of nooks and crannies to chill in
the chocolate dessert we took home was epic, candied pecans were magical I would seriously go there just for that dessert again!

Nice friendly staff but they outnumbered the diners.
My wife had the salmon & was delighted with it. I had the chicken burger & I can honestly say it was the most disappointing meal I have ever had at a restaurant. The bun was exceedingly heavy & the chicken like leather. I had to eat it in my hands simply because I couldn’t get my knife through it. Such a let down.

The minute we arrived we were greeted genuinely friendly. Although we had booked, as they were not busy we were given a choice of tables. Water came frequently and we were given ample time to make our choice from the menu. We had the bread and dips (highly recommended and would have had more if we had known how good it was but we still had mains to have), and a Ceaser salad (really nicely presented and tasty) between us to start. Mains were eye fillet (awesome, beautifully tender), pork belly (again tender as, however no crackle, a bit disappointing),tortellini pasta dish sounded just up my alley but disappointed, undercooked, and lacked the flavour it promised,) what a shame.
However overall a lovely evening, super friendly staff, more than happy to recommend. We wish you well with the future of your restaurant.

We recently had a 21st at Fire and Ice and we could not have been happier. The management made it very easy for us to do business with them and the staff on the night were fantastic. They were friendly obliging and got into the spirit of the evening. They provided a wonderful range of food and gave us some great options for beverages and how to run the night. Well worth the visit!

I was upstairs for the night and received excellent service and the food was great.

Nice place, new and clean with nice service.Ordered Pork Belly but found out it was a string left on the pork. Staff apologies but didn’t offer anything – we finished the meal anyway and got the grab one deal. Would not go back as the meal is average and pricey if need to pay in full price.
————————————–great customer service, went extra mile! How many restaurant could do this? We got offer to go back again for the same dish,it tastes great and service is great!Staff are very friendly and nice, dont think you can find better service than this! Well done, I would recommend others to come, you could not be disappointed!

Excellent place to chill out with friends/colleagues after work or on a weekend eve. Great ambience, great food, good music and super staff service.

Both upstairs and downstairs area have their own bars which is another cool feature of Fire & Ice. Visiting this place with a group of people is highly recommended.
