definitely the go-to takeout for students. quick and cheap. easily the most popular fish and chip shop on campus.

Piece of fish? More like a piece of minced up fish guts. You know that horrible cheap fish you get from the frozen section at the supermarket? It was worse!! I always got the famous squiddys shoestring fries and they are good but I thought I would branch out for a fish a hot dog and fatty chips. It was disgusting!!! I will never go there again.

Just one suggestion to make excellent. that numbers are used for orders just to limit confusion!

You can’t seem to go wrong with the Flying Squid, or “Squiddies” as it is known to locals. For many years it has won the annual Critic (Otagon University’s Student Association magazine) Fish and Chip review, which reviews local fish and chip places for their value, and taste, of their cuisine.
I have been there a few times myself, and do agree that both the amount, and the taste especially, of what I am getting for my money to be very worthwhile.
Thank you Squiddies for always being their for the students!
