Will go back to the cafe for dinner one day – its always packed when we go into the cinema. But we have had the most delicious brownie, with Kapiti ice-cream and berries. Such a huge chunk of brownie but good to have a 2 hour movie to get through it all.

i love this place. i held my sons birthday here and it was great. great friendly service. realy yummy food and surprisingly affordable. the cinemas are very comfortable and they do a very cheap deal for diner and a movie (only $30 per person) the only thing i didnt like is that the movies snackbar does not sell popcorn and they do not allow you to take your own in. (whats a movie without popcorn!)

This place has only been open for a couple of months, so I thought I’d better check it out.

My partner and I stopped by for lunch on a weekday afternoon, and it was a VERY busy place with around 15-20 tables occupied and plenty of good looking meals being served.

It was a hot day so I tried the “French” anti-pasta plate ($25), and pretty much polished it off with the help of a couple of beers.

The menu is not that “summer” style – eg lasagna, nachos – but the Thai Beef salad looked good as it went past to other tables. In Winter I guess that the Lamb Shanks will be popular.

Overall, this place is a nice smart place to eat, with a jazzy city feel about it. Well worth visiting if you are in Levin.
