I came across Frankies, and the Stables, by accident about 3 or 4 years ago. He was handing out his menus and I took one, I’m glad I did! The sausages are good-sized and good value for money. I love trying different types (favorite is the Boerworst) with sauerkraut and cheese on it. I go regularly and have introduced many coworkers to Frankies and everyone is impressed at their meals when they order. Not your average sausage for sure!

I’ve been going to Frankie’s for lunch every couple of weeks for years now. The sausages are consistently delicious, and I would highly recommend checking the chalkboard for their special sausage of the week.

Side dishes are also great. I get the fried stuffed mushrooms every time I go for dinner (unfortunately they’re not available with lunch) and their chips are probably some of the best in town.

The only negative thing I can say about them is that their prices rise quite a bit for dinner. While you do get a side serving of vegetables for the price difference, it would be nice to have the option of skipping that and getting lunch prices.

Still, if you’re on the fence, definitely give Frankie’s a go.

Brilliant meal, I had the Chilli dog (4), with all the trimmings, next time i will be adding the South African Boerewors to my meal rather than the bratwurst. Partner had the (5) with the boerewors.
Good Job.

Went with a Deal Voucher and when booking discovered that it could only be used for dinner and was going to expire before we could get there – no problem for the friendly lady on the phone – she said we could still use it at a later date, so booked the following Saturday night. Excellent sausages and choices of accompaniments to suit all – even had table service, which was a bonus considering that Frankies is in an “up market” food hall, but on Saturday night really more like a busy restaurant. Even without a voucher, the prices are very reasonable and they even have a vegetarian sausage option. The staff were lovely and super efficient – will definitely return!

Went for lunch with two of my mates from Melbourne.

Love the location…the make really good chili dog!

Setting: Stylish European concept…food court style environment.

Service: Don’t expect one. You need to grab your own menu and make sure you decide your choice of food quickly.

Food: I do love it. Its really tasty..especially the lamb = Moroccan sausages. I wish that the sausages are served a little bit warmer.

Price: You looking at an average of $12.50 per person excluding drinks.

Capacity: It’s best if you have a company of 4 max. The place can be quiet busy to look for tables. Great place for lunch and drinks.

I will definitely recommend you all to Elliot Stable….affordable food in a stylish location.!
