Terrible, probably one of the worst fish and chips i have ever had. $5 chips is not even enough for one,290 grams or $17 per KG. Fish was old, over cooked and soggy. The batter was like a paste and the potato fritters are tiny.

Went to fish Stop last night on a recommendation, we waited for 45 mins and other customers arriving and receiving their orders, thought we would ask about our order and they said we’ll do it now. We asked for our money back and will not bother going back, maybe they do not need new customers.I did not think their prices were reasonable salmon fillets 19.99 per 500gm, $40 kg is not reasonable even for a small fish shop

We liked the previous incarnation as Fush, but had a disappointing experience after it became Fish Stop (new owners?) and didn’t go back. Recently tried again – what a difference! The chips were perfect- crispy, tasty, practically no oil, lightly salted. Battered fish was good too. Prices are very reasonable, and apparently they’re a finalist in the Best Chip Shop awards this year. Great stuff. Will be back.
