This cafe has the best most consistent food, in my opinion in Auckland. Fantastic every time. Coffee is spot on, and for someone who likes their coffee extra hot, ( much to the embarrassment of my husband) they get it right.
Just wish they had more outdoor space so one could stay there for hours and catch another meal 4 hrs later!!!
The service is ALWAYS friendly and cheery and that’s what you want when you’re paying for it. Only once since we’ve been there have we had to wait, and we were fully warned in advance by the lovely waitress.
The food is very generous in size for the money and for my 6’3 man always leaves him full, important!!
Overall I highly recommend over most cafe’s.

wow, I’m shocked to read the reviews about unfriendly staff! We pop in to FUZE 1-3 times per month, and have found the staff very friendly and helpful, every time. Their food is consistently delicious and their coffees are fantastic.
we highly rate FUZE and bring all our guests there for a great breakfast.
although small, if they had a bigger site I’m sure they’d take off – because their food and coffee is the best.
we always order the same (creatures of habit) – scrambled eggs with hash brown for 6yr old, buttermilk pancakes (divine) and FUZE breakfast, plus a Phoenix juice, and 2 coffees for $60 – can’t get better than that!!!!!

Drink and eat here regularly, nice food and good service considering they are so busy and under pressure. Have a big problem with the size of their coffee cups that are so small. I usually end up asking for a takeaway cup as you get more coffee in it for your money.

Wish I liked this cafe more, as we’re desperate for a great place on the Peninsula and this could be so much better than it is! I find the staff really rude and unfriendly, they definitely don’t go the extra mile and they make it seem like you’re a nuisance when you make special requests. I was very visibly pregnant and ordered scrambled eggs to take away, got them home to find they were barely cooked and therefore unsafe for me to eat. I offered them to hubby but they were so runny and undercooked he couldn’t stand them either. If the staff were friendlier we’d go there all the time but we choose to spend our money in cafes where you feel like you’re a valued customer.

The coffee was great, staff were very nice and welcoming, and I had egg and bacon panini which was to die for. Thank you for making my cafe experience in Te Atatu a great one. Wish you could trade venues with Luscious Food Store as you surpass their quality and would be great for an outdoor play area for the kids.

Fuze has got the best pancakes! Staff are super friendly. Love the little outdoor area out the back where I can take my littlies! Big breakfast was so good too!
Superb quality food, friendly staff and a willingness to tailor dishes to your wants and desires makes Fuze a favourite cafe for me.
The brioche are to die for, coffee is top quality and tea is damn fine too (I’m an avid tea drinker so that’s important for me!). Main dishes are updated regularly and are always a delight with great flavour combinations.
I recommend Fuze highly to anyone looking for a great cafe with a relaxed atmosphere out West.

Fuze is the friendliest , most community minded cafe on the peninsula. Let me tell you a story – I was stuck for making food for my wife – I was talking casually with the chef and the next minute he’d come up with an amazing idea of how to do a great meal and loaned me a cook book.
In terms of the food. You cannot beat a)their curly fries b) the Haloumi cheese breakfast c)their hearty warm soups.
The people are warm, authentic, generous and real and it shows in the food – down to earth sophistication. Perfect New New Zealand food. If you go to te atatu and don’t go – it’s like going to Paris without seeing the Eiffel Tower – it’s the real deal.

Good coffee, comfy seats, food looks great but didn’t eat. Friendly staff, all good on the peninsula.

I look forward to going to this cafe. The menu has some unique items (plus generous portions) and the front cabinet has more nice food displayed. The coffee is great and is made by the manager or owner (I’m not sure if she owns the cafe but she’s the manager). Her staff follow her lead well. All staff are friendly and the service is excellent. The staff notice opportunities to provide extras such as things you might need for your kids. There is plenty of parking.

man the caramel latte here was beautiful little bit strong but was nice, love the fast service and also the hot chocolate with soy yummy!!!!

Best coffee and food on the peninsula by far. Owner is lovely and friendly however the staff could do with a hurry up when she is not around! The eggs bene is the best I have ever tasted! just wish the place was bigger and a bit more lighting as some times it can feel a bit dull inside.
We tried breakfast here and won’t be back in a hurry. It’s too pricey for what you get. Service is okay – they don’t ask how you like your food.
The music is a very repetitive “boom boom boom” which is constant and not nice to listen to. The people preparing the food can be seen from the cafe and I noted one of them eating while working — not a good look at all and also raises issues of hygiene. Touched her face and didn’t wash her hands and then went on to prepare food. Not nice.
Ordered tea this time which was nothing to rave about.
On several occasions previous to our visit this time have ordered coffee. The coffee has always tasted incredibly bitter, simply awful.
The toast itself were nice generous slices but not toasted enough. We were given butter to share between 2 even though we had ordered butter for each of us. Both of us had ordered butter, but were given a blank look by the waitress so we had to share. The spreads were very sparse too, once again not enough. My jam was a disgusting colour, lacked taste and was in a glob: very cheap tasting and looking.

Delish food, friendly service. Not really child/buggy/pram friendly, I tend to go there when I am without child!

I have been to Fuze many many times and every single time I’ve been there the experience has been excellent.
The service is super friendly.
The food is excellent – i especially recommend the Fuze Benedict.
And I was never a big coffee drinker until I tried theirs – smooth, creamy and tasty!

One of the few positive things I can say is that is it in a handy location on the Peninsula close to the other shops- and hence despite its shortcomings will probably remain successful. Other than that- awful! The service is shockingly rude, the wait times outrageously long for coffee or food (even if you are the only customer there). They do have tasty sandwiches and cooked breakfast items, but don’t bother with the scones or muffins. And the coffee… tastes cheap and is never made well.
Pass Fuze altogether and go to Luscious Food Store up the road- worth the extra walk!!!

Service is not with a smile. They do not cater very well for children at all. I can barley fit my buggy down the isle, there is nothing “plain” for them to eat, therefor I had to buy food from the bakery for them.
Not really a good “dining” experience if you have children, but great coffee for take-out.

Wonderful food, excellent coffee and a buzzing atmosphere. The service is always quick and efficient, but not always that friendly or welcoming .. certainly when its busy the team seem very stressed and a bit snappy. But having said that, we keep going back!
I try to visit Fuze whenever I can. I love their coffee and I always get fantastic service. My favourite spot is out back in the booth seats…sooo comfy.

My Partner & I recently moved out west and decided popped into to the Fuze Cafe for the first time this week. We were delighted to find such a superb cafe so close to home! The service was fantastic, with friendly, efficient staff! The quantity & quality of the food was great! And as for the coffee, it comes highly recommended!
I am so glad we decided to come for brunch and will most definitely return! Well done Fuze Cafe!

Since we have never had an unpleasant experience at a cafe before, we were totally taken by surprise to have our refreshments aborted by such rude service. From the time we entered and took our seats, we felt stared at by the staff. We thought that maybe this was because we were in a small suburban cafe frequented by locals.
When they observed that we had purchased two small savouries from elsewhere to have with the rest of our order from the cafe, we were instructed to read a sign in the cafe which stated that all food must be bought on the premises. This was done in a very unfriendly manner, to the extent we cancelled our order and left.
The cafe seemed to have no second thoughts about loss of patronage. We wonder whether anybody else has had a similar experience?

I have only dined at Fuze once and enjoyed the experience very much. A friend of mine had a brief fling with the Latino Cook from Fuze and he was given a few stubby glass containers of Russino Filetti Di Acciughe/Fillets of Anchovies by her. Could anyone please let me know where I might find these for sale? I highly recommend them, they are delicious.

have visited here on several occasions nice staff nice atmosphere but don”t eat mushrooms (are allergic to them) and find it very hard to get anything on the menu that doesn’t have mushrooms in it, which is a shame maybe the cook loves mushys a bit of variety would be nice as there is some amazing ingredients out there that he is missing out on. Because of the restricted menu I unfortunately have stopped coming shame as it is a nice place with great staff.

If your out in west Auckland and are in need of a Latte Fix…..Hit up The FUZE

I have been eating here since the day it opened and always found the staff friendly, the food of good quality and the coffee great. It has given Servo some honest competition and in my mind beats them hands down on all points..They have just covered the outside part at the back which is heated so that increases your chance of geeting a seat as it is getting mighty popular and sometimes this can be a challenge.

Lunches are excellent..good sized portions..tasty food..reasonable prices..
I have always found the staff to be friendly

Great coffee and impressive food – but seriously spoiled by the surprisingly large number of flies – most resting on or around the seating areas. The problem has persisted since January. I can’t understand why owners don’t take action
Eat here regularly. Great food, great service. Excellent home made goodies in the food cabinet not like the same old stuff you get in cafes that buy their cakes in. Great coffee and friendly efficient staff.
Friendly, warm and welcoming feeling but the offering from the Deli was rather average and left me unimpressed considering the asking price. My partner had a salad which she enjoyed until she discovered a shard of glass when she was expecting to bite into something a lot less harmful.
This cafe lifts the peninsula’s options for quality cafe action.Interesting menu,Millers coffee (excellent) and great service.
Wish they had some beer.

food was nice and the service bad.. assistants need to definately learn customer services skills especially the younger one that works there.
