Not an easy place to find if you have not been there before. It is in a sunny and well lit location in a small courtyard and you have the option of sitting outside.

I really like it because it is crisp bright and clean. The My Mother in law’s North Indian Eggs is worth a try if you are looking for something spicy for breakfast.

Service can be patchy

Stunning menu, filled with options that scream ‘flavour’! I chose the “Gala Spa Salad” which included generous amounts of tender Steamed Chicken, with Green Tea Noodles, and Cress with loads of Dressing, and they’d run out of one ingredient, so thoughtfully replaced it with beetroot and ginger, which was DELICIOUS!

The food left me feeling healthy & invigorated.

The staff were extremely friendly & accommodating to our requests. My 3 year old enjoyed her side of salmon, and a banana!

My only complaint is that I chose this cafe by searching for ‘Children’s Play Area’ on MenuMania, and this one came up. Gala Cafe definitely does not have a children’s play area!! Staff were apologetic about that, and helpful in suggesting things to amuse my daughter. But this is not really the place to bring kids for a play date. (Although the fabulous playground is just across the road for before & after playtime, so that was good.)

All in all a fantastic place to eat. The food really blew me away.
And easy parking in the weekends was a bonus.
