Popped into the Gasworks for all you can eat ribs and fries last night. Was really impressed with the friendly quick service. The atomosphere was fantastic, it is quite rare to see a restaurant in the burbs full up on a Wednesday night.

For $20.00 you get all you can eat ribs and bottomless fries, the ribs were tasty and kept being delivered to the table at just the right time, fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the centre – perfect. Also had a pint of cider that came in a decent size glass that had been chilled – the perfect addition to the ribfest.

Will be going back for sure, and look forward to sampling the other dishes available, the menu looks great.

Gasworks is a relatively new pub in Miramar with a really pumping atmosphere. The decor looks great and is varied inside, outside and on either side of the bar and restaurant. Even the toilets look good! We were really impressed with the service at Gasworks. On a busy Friday night with functions going on all over the place and a very full bar, the restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating. The menu looks impressive, with a range of burgers and gastro pub-style food as well as heart bar snacks available. My partner enjoyed the Gas Burger, with an Angus beef pattie, bacon, cheese and pineapple. I ordered the chargrilled cranberry chicken breast which came with a stuffed potato and a cute little pottle of peas. The key word here is ‘chargrilled’; the chicken was so chargrilled that it was tough and dry with the thin cranberry sauce barely able to make an impact. I realise this was probably a casualty of a very busy night and I’d possibly eat at Gasworks again, but I definitely won’t be ordering the chicken.
