I was looking forward to a lovely experience dining in the sun with world class service and great food. Unfortunately only two
of those expectations were met.
As my partner and I entered the restaurant for lunch we were a bit perplexed as to where we were supposed to make our presence known. There was no Maitre’D to greet us, just numerous waitstaff meandering around with no acknowledgement of our existence. If I didn’t have my heart set on having lunch here I would have turned around and left right away. After about 5 minutes of being ignored, someone finally noticed that maybe we did actually want to be seated. Even then the service did no improve as it was accompanied with a frown and a grumble as we were shown to our seat.
Once we had received our meal (the harvest platter for 2), It semt we had become invisible again as no attention was paid to our needs, not even to ask if we wanted another glass of wine which we were craving. My partner really wanted dessert but no menu was to be seen after providing ample opportunity for them to give it to us, so we just left.

Dining in the sun – Pleasant.
Platter – Good though lacking cheese.
Service – Non Existent.

We will not be back.
