Not overly impressed, good value if you want lots of cheep meat, but not really my cup of tea. Still worth a try if you haven’t experienced this format.
took hubby here for dinner. he enjoyed selecting your own foods especially the meats as he like lots! lots of veges to choose from and to watch the cooks cook, gives it that uniqueness about dining here. pancakes and vanilla icecream is yum so my children tell me…diff be back.

decent food, the precooked stuff isn’t amazing but making your own is good.

The range of choice for food is AMAZING. Can’t make any complaints about how the food tastes because you choose your flavours. It was a little hard to understand the waitress but thats ok its an authentic place and I WILL be returning no doubt about that!

Atmosphere? What atmosphere? It reminded me of a workplace cafeteria. Yes, you choose what you want, but I thought everything kind of tasted the same after they’d fried it up. And my pancake was pretty much still raw. Least it’s cheap.

The food is fantastic, service is fine and well priced. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the atmosphere isn’t amazing… its not bad either though, just kind of bland.

Ginji’s Real Mongolian BBQ Buffet is a great place to eat, right in the heart of Palmerston North, being a buffet, you can choose any combination of fresh ingredients, which are cooked on a huge griddle right in front of you.
The cooks are real pro’s!
You MUST try the pancake dessert, cooked to perfection on a seperate griddle, with it’s own buffet selection of toppings, I’m drooling just thinking about them!
