I visited this café when it first opened and I was instantly impressed by the fresh food, nice coffee, polite staff, cleanliness and the welcoming feel.

I went there with a friend last week and was knocked over by how different it now feels.

The food looked and tasted like it had come out of a bulk buy freezer and certainly wasn’t what I would call fresh, the café part is now crammed full of so much furniture it’s like a secondhand junk shop and I made the mistake of looking past the shop counter to the workspace behind which seemed full of bits of note paper, used serving dishes, dirty old books and to round it off the service was deplorable.

The only pleasant thing I can say was that the coffee and the library books are still good.
