Definitely consistently great, I have had both breakfasts and lunches at Good Oil, always go there when in Dunedin, great food, great service and most importantly fab coffee. Lots of staff on, great atmosphere, cater to dietry requirements. Always busy so that is always a good sign.

Some of the best cafe food in town – always consistent, reasonably priced and good selection. The cinnamon swirls are particularly delicious! Friendly and efficient staff who appear to enjoy their work and give the cafe a nice atmosphere.But be warned, this place is usually VERY busy – the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that you can’t always get a seat!!

Well, I wanted to enjoy this cafe, however the results were worse than expected. We were informed of a 15 minute wait, which is acceptable no matter where you go. However, the first meal came to the table 30 minutes later, followed by another 10 minutes later. By this stage we had already inquired after our meals twice. Then three more meals came at 5 minutes intervals. The first two people was well finished before the last meal even arrived. We were also disappointed to see the vast differences between the chicken burgers, which you would expect to be the same! Unfortunately we will not be going back there again.

One of the best cafes in all of Dunedin. Awesome food, really good coffee from La Marzocco machine, & they always have a great barista.. 2 thumbs up from me!
