We went here on a supermarket 2-1 deal and thats about all I’d be prepared to pay. Normally the main would be $20. The place was a little dirty and run down. We also got there for happy hour so 2-1 coronas. End of the day the place has loads fo promise just needs a little spruce up.

The Atmosphere is great but the problem is food. We had our function last weekend and sadly to say it was poor, we paid 70+ people $26pp for a BBQ menu… rather spend at Valentines or Genghis. Steak was hard, chicken was soaked in watering soy sauce and hadly any salad had to wait for top up it was not separated with the Halal menu which got couple staff sick 3 days later…I would go there for drinks but not for feed or dine in.

Service really bad and staff are pre-occupied and don’t seem to care about serving. This place is my local and it is really sad that we have to travel because Guadas doesn’t train staff well. They just need better management given this place maybe $500 in the last month and unfortunately they are going to lose me to Republic……even though Republic is kinda bad too…. Oh well no wonder I go to town…. Don’t watch a game there either really bad volume and if you wanna play pool do it in the dark nobody knows where the light switch is annnnd dont expect the bar person to know anything about the wine either. Hasta luego guadas…. Mexicans would be ashamed…. I asked about the tequila and was told hate the stuff hahaha classic!!!!

Guada Restaurant in Manukau. It’s my opinion that this restaurant serves mediocre food and has bad service. Nothing “Mexican” about this Mexican food.
