One Review for Harbour Coffee Lounge
1
Located opposite the Wellington harbour this coffee lounge has stood under the north tower of the Telecom House and still surviving for at least a decade and a half. Two Asians couple has occupied this shop for over 15 years and there is no sign of them retiring from their beloved shop soon. Its unlike any other coffee lounge in Wellington, the food quality are above average with the price set at low to medium in keeping its loyal customers. But it is atmosphere that set aside from the trendy cafe like Expressoholic et al.
Its hard to believe this shop has survived all these years even with a competitor right next door. But Fong and Tony represents the hard working immigrants, and if you have a spare time after 4pm, you can ask them to share their two decades of story since arriving from Hong Kong.
This shop is not about the quality of coffee, trendy music with nose piercing part time students making Expresso behind counter, non graffiti wall. I recommend anyone to try if they want the traditional coffee shop right after work or relaxing during breaks.
