Waited near 15mins for a take away coffee that I had to ask where it was again, then it came within a minute but was froathing crap. It was the third time I’d been there for a T\A coffee & all were terrible so I took this one back and the barista got cranky with remark that I must be having a bad morning? Total dick. He gave me a new one that was too hot to drink. Just ugly attitude. Don’t know why people think the coffee is the best there as I never had one. Their barista who ruins good songs with his loud singing is arrogant & rude. Will not go back and if you want a creamy coffee don’t bother their singing barista as his mind is not on the job but his dreams of New Zealand Idol and how famous he will be. Twit

Sorry but for me I love a good coffee and bite but don’t want to hear the parrot trying to sing behind the coffee machine? Put a sock in it please, we’re not there for you slick. Slicks coffee is a hit/miss. I’ve sent 2 coffees back to him as they were a bubbling mess and he had an attitude like I don’t know what a good coffee is? When I’m paying $4 for it I want it too be worth it, not a throw away. When he’s on I don’t bother ordering now. Staff look dirty and shows with there cleaning skills. Will go back to see if there is a change.

this is my local… I love the singing barista, but mostly the vibe & how it feels like home away from home! Definately the best cafe in Titirangi x

Everyone talks about the coffee, granted it is awesome, but the dinner is equally fantastic! Amazing tastes no matter what you order. Highly recommended.
Lovely coffee and staff. My best friend Tosh and I love being here to catch up with friends and to sit in the sunshine. A happy place!! (especially for Tosh when he gets bacon leftovers!)
My favorite hangout. I’m not sure if Allpress make a special blend for them, but this place always has amazing coffee and amazing service.
My only qualm being that they’re not open late on Monday (to cure my Mondayitis) and it’s always soooooo busy! Ah well, that’s what you get for being a great place to be.

Great local! Coffee is always awesome and the staff are fantastic. If you’re in luck they’ll even be singing (or the barista will at least).

The singing barista would light up my afternoon when i would go in and get a hot chocolate after a long day
Very nice and caring staff. A Titirangi keeper
Everytime when i am on holiday in New Zealand in Titirangi, i drink my lattee there and it is always very good!
I really enjoy coming here, it is my favourite local cafe in Titirangi. While it is true the singing barista per the review before mine is great at making coffees, a new guy has started and his coffees are the best I’ve ever had – creamy not frothy…I’ve lived in the UK and this guy still comes in on top. Food ok, I’m vegetarian so only eat the wedges which are tasty but it’s the coffee of late that make me go back for more.

I’ve recently moved here and quite regularly have my coffee and cake at the Hardware Cafe. If the guy is on (don’t know his name but he sings alot) then you can guarantee getting a superb coffee. Service is good and the food I’ve had has been great. Only critique is it is cramped but that’s better than not getting a seat.
