My colleague and I stayed at a lovely motel just around the corner from Hell’s Pizza, so it was only a short walk away.
Hell’s tend to have consistently good food around the country, but what made this one a standout, aside from the food, was the friendliness. While we were waiting, the owner came out from behind the counter, and had a great conversation with us like he’d known us for years. What a difference a simple thing like spending time to acknowledge your customers makes, and of course, it is where we will eat every time we are in Whangarei. Well done.
