Service was good, mains were lacking – exceedingly small portions, tasty but nothing amazing. There were also no where to dry your hands in the bathroom.

Came on a friday night with my partner. We were instantly welcomed by the head chef as we entered. A warm, vibrant atmosphere. We each had an entree and a side followed by a dessert. I had the mussels with the cheese and herb gratin there werent that many but they were S0 nice. We also shared the roast vegetables which were to die for. Dessert I had the butterscotch creme brulee which was very good. It was sweet but I like it like that. I recommend this place to anyone. Portions arent huge but they are worth every penny. Will definitely be back

Sweet. Everything was overly sweet (not in a good way). Service was great though

Excellent food. One of Dunedin’s best restaurants. Nice atmosphere, great staff. I’ll keep going back.

Easily the best restaurant in dunedin. The best salmon I have ever had in my life was here, felt like it melted in my motuh. The pork belly is delicious. Also went there for brunch on a sunday morning. very reasonably priced breakfast and the view is even better at this time. Eggs benny rather here than in town where breakfast in the weekend is a gamble.

One of the best meals I had during my recent trip to NZ. The food was great, the setting superb (as long as you looked out to sea and forgot about the boat yards and industrial units the restaurant is surrounded by!) and the service excellent.

Didn’t live up to my expectations. Food good, but not great. Price was reasonable. Service was fine. Unfortunately nothing about my experience stood out, and midwinter so no view.

Beautiful food in a lovely setting.
I’ve enjoyed my meal immensely every time I’ve been here.
Even in winter when you can’t see the view because of the early dark evenings, the interior is really pleasant.
One of the best experiences of salmon I ever had was one of the ‘specials’ here one evening.
