Was very excited to go here, had heard exceptional things about their pies – however I was very disappointed, as it was just average. Tasted exactly like one I could’ve got from the supermarket for $2. I don’t know if it was just an off day, but I wouldn’t be going back. A friend I was with had the bacon and egg pie, which they served cold, and would not heat it up. Very disappointing.

This cafe is a quaint, lovely place for a quiet meal. The cakes are delicious, as are the pies. My only disappointment is the coffee, which i no longer buy here. It’s not pleasant, which is a shame – as otherwise this is my favourite place to treat myself in Lincoln.
