Have eaten here many times and will return. Great steaks.. Not willing to try anything else. I’ve seen other nicely presented dishes but have never tasted. Trouble is, theres so much going on with their menu that i just give up and stick with what I know – this is also troulesome for new diners. Unfortunately the staff couldn’t give a rats behind about anything..even their dress sense to accommodate their attitude stinks. Portions and quality is heading downhill while the prices are rising. Lately the salads have looked like a rabbits leftover thawed out of the freezer. Despite looking mediocre it’s a tasty place to eat – just prepare yourself for a 40 minute wait (at least)!

Ifyou want a good dose of protein at a reasonable price this is the place to go to – although with the dimmed lighting and poor quality cuts being used – there’s a chance you’ll come across more gristle and fat than good protein.
It’s a cheap and cheerful steak house, all the cuts seem to taste the same.
Would I go for a nice fillet or rib eye? No. But its decent enough for a pre or post cinema kai.

Went here for my birthday with my family. Food was delicious. I had the Salmon steak with herbs. Melt in your mouth yum. The service was awesome. I think his name was Harry. He was fantastic. Definitely in the right job. Got our order right and did everything with pizazz.

Hubby had the ‘small’ steak’ medium rare which is plenty big enough for him a man with a manly appetite. Steak came out as ordered. Sides were filling and tasty.

Daughter ordered the burger and chips. Free dessert and drink for her. She was well entertained with the colouring in competition right throughout dinner. In fact, I think her food may have got slightly neglected but she was full by the time we left.

Hubby and I shared the banoffie pie for dessert – which was perfect to share – after our mains and garlic bread entree. Lovely thick topping on the pie which was served with a dollop of cream and a scoop of yummy creamy icecream.

Food came out quickly and hot. But we did order steak/salmon steak – so expect it to be pretty quick. We’d just finished our entree and the mains came out.

YUM. And we used our entertainment book voucher to get 25% off. So all up with the discount came to about $72 I think that was including a ginger beer and a corona. Child meal included a free dessert and a free drink.

Handy after 6pm discount parking in the Readings cinema carpark.

We went on a Friday evening – didn’t book but it filled up very quickly after we got there. We got there just after 6pm.

Waiter was very charming.

The place is very nice, cozy and clean, the service is friendly and good, but the food….. My friend ordered the tortellini, bad idea. They taste like those cheap brands from the supermarket in a canned tomato pasta sauce, under-seasoned. I had the Chicken Parmigiana, it was flavourless, no seasoning at all and with the same horrible tomato sauce that came with the tortellini. The chips and salad were quite nice. I would give it a second chance as long as I’m not paying for it, because it felt as a waste of money.

Complete and utter crap food, I know it shouldn’t look like the photos exactly but it also shouldn’t look like my pork are the off cuts your pick up from pak n save.

I don’t know if the plate was huuuge or my meal was tiny, no I’m pretty sure my meal was tiny

Far to over priced the only thing that kept us there was our very charming waiter whom i hope finds a place worthy of him to work!

The chef didn’t give a rats arse and said it was cooked to order! RUBBISH!!!!

How could be cooked to order when it was served cold??

Great steaks! haven’t tasted better steaks anywhere. I go there every time I visit Wellington, best steak house I have ever been to. Superb setup for a cafe.
