Once upon a time there was great service from the bar but since the old barman left there is little or sullen service. The food is great although expensive.

I stereotyped the place and avoided it because it was in Wolston. Big mistake! Amazing food, nice environment,as good as it gets in Christchurch.

Mrs got the salmon, i got the chicken both amazing. I havnt been there for lunch yet but definately something i plan to do.

Located in an refurbished original brick building, Holy Smoke provided a very enjoyable night out. With an original and creative menu, the food was well presented and absolutely delicious. My hot smoked salmon was divine whilst the smoked ribs at the table next door looked like they were enjoyed a lot. We found the service to be knowledgeable, helpful and friendly without being too interfering. Would definitely recommend to all.
