I have been a regular for many years and the service is great. The fish burgers leave maccas for dead. We can ring through orders which are ready for us to takeaway as soon as we arrive. Fish today 28th was excellent as usual. The fish was lightly battered and the chips were an outstanding complement and a wet and windy day.

This place always had very greasy Fish and Chips. The Snapper I odered a few times was soaking in fat and awful. After watching the Staff answer the phone and go back to touching the food again without washing their hands put me off.The last time I went there,the woman owner took my money(Cash)and returned my change with batter and food etc on it because she didn’t wash her hands first.She then carried on cooking after handling the money and was touching the food with her unwashed hands.I’d seen enough and have never gone back. Hook Inn are getting hammered from their new opposition up the road, and have even resorted to copying some of their oppositions ideas and added to their menu.
