Was a little bit disappointed when we can to dine here tonight. By 6.30they had sold out of the Dumpling’s, Chocolate Waffles, Marinated Egg, Marinated Chicken Wings. Plus when they saw our voucher they said we couldn’t have take out??? which seems very strange. We ended up walking out as everything we wanted as I said had sold out. We d…o want to go back there for sure but couldn’t understand how they could sell out of some many things so early? Esp Waffles don’t you make them to order? Sounds like if you sold out so early that they are frozen??? As I said we will go back to TRY to dine there again but it was just a bit disappointing our first time and experience there

Yummy food, and generous Milk Tea servings . Shared the Chicken Don which was very tasty, and also the Belgian Waffles. Nice surroundings, and good service even though it was quite busy for a Sunday afternoon. Would definitely visit again..

Use to be great, still is to some degree, but for someone who has seen better days at Hulu, I’m a bit disappointed. Food never fails tho. Service varies, but milk Tea quality has dropped a little. Still better than alot of the other places in town tho.

The design is cute and the pearl milk teas are really nice

They make some of the best milk teas in Auckland. The setting is relaxing which is great for catch-ups with friends and the ‘kitty cat’ theme is rather cute. I also occasionally get one of their toasts – yes it’s just a thick piece of toast with chocolate/peanut/coconut on it, but for some reason, it tastes better from here =).

The only problem (and I find this with ALL milk tea places, not just Hulu) is that I think milk teas are generally a bit over-priced – kinda like coffee I guess?

OHMYGOSH! I love this place, Fab place to hang out and play cards!

Menu is excellent, and i would recommend this place too anyone who loves bubble tea ^^

Hulu makes the best milk tea I have ever had! They taste excellent and the size is very generous. To top it off they have a cute cat theme that is clearly evident throughout the cafe.

if you like cats with your chicken gizzards and egg pudding milk tea, you’re going to love the Hulu Cat Tea House.

There is a feature wall with pictures of cats ‘au toilet’, all the cat statues you could wish for and, if you’re lucky, a hot babe with Cat Power hair!

This isn’t really cat related, or at least it wasn’t until I saw the feature wall, but the sign for the Bathrooms says ‘Thinking Room.’
