One Review for Inangahua Arms Hotel
If you’re looking for pub meals after a hard day in the hills, this is the place. The decor is not flash and may not appeal to everyone; the patrons are quiet, friendly and welcoming, Karen, the bar manager, is cheerful and runs a tight ship; the food is tasty and filling, the portions are generous. Check out the roast of the day at $14 – the manager warns you it is a large meal .. it is! A glass of wine is a full glass, not half or three-quarters as in many other places. The pot belly stove keeps the place warm in winter and there is a resident cat, generally lying in front of the fire, but who visits you if you give her the eye.
We love the place .. long may it remain.
