Excellent value, delicious food. Every time I’ve been in they play the same Bollywood video, but that’s a small complaint. The aloo chat type starters are the only I’ve found in Wellington & remind me of the eateries in Drummond Street near Kings Cross Station in London. Yum.

Excellent food and friendly staff. They make so tasty butter chicken I have ever tasted. Thank god we finally have a sweet store in wellington to buy sweets in large scale. Their service delivered via serving and retaling is always above average. I would like to acknowledge the chefs in the kitchen who makes such great meals – keep up the good work. Nevertheless the prices for meals is just right and reasonable and I think with tasty meals and fanastic service that why my BEST TAKEAWAYS in town is INDIAN FLAVOURS!!!! Please viewers make sure you go and dine there too and you will realise that every money spent was worthwhile.

I usually buy sweets from here and food. The food is really nice and so is the food i must say.I go there all the time. However i went last week and my 5 year old son wanted some rasmalai. They had a bowl with only little bit of the milk left.I asked for more and they didn’t have any so i asked if my son could have the left over of the milk and i must say it was just about 2 sips of coffee and i believe they would have thrown it anyway.I placed an order of almost $35 and they charged me for the little bit of milk.Doesn’t bother me so much but i would have appreciated some kind of offer being a regular customer.
Indian flavours fills a big gap in Wellington. We can get good Indian sweets of a small range here and some savories not otherwise easily sourced in NZ. The sweets are of very good quality, comparable to good shops in India. The savouries reek of smoke, ? boiled oil smoke / other smoke and could be much better. They are tasty but ‘smoky’ which is not an Indian flavour & spoils them. The service is appalling. There are young, rude Indian men whose unwillingness to sell is astonishingly obvious and their smirks plain rude. They avoid serving you and if forced to use their hands (unclean for sweets) or make silly remarks. Clearly they are not interested in their job or selling anything. The owner needs to look at the quality of his swearing young servers, some of us understand the swear words these boys use pretty well.

Great atmosphere – reminds me of those family-run curry places in Singapore or Delhi.

The thali used to be a great feed with 3 servings plus desert for $10. Now I have noticed that they have put it back to 2 servings (changed the plates) so not so good anymore unfortunately…The mains ordered are ok but not that great.
