They must have had a bad day when we went. We were passing through and headed to Indigo Cafe because of the positive reviews.

Best to avoid the scramble eggs as they lack taste.The Crêpes were swimming in Maple Syrup.

Wish I could stay something positive about the coffee.

I simply love this cafe – it not only has lovely staff and atmosphere but also great food. They made a lovely $5 hot beef or chicken sandwich (recommend it) and a very central location in Rotorua.

THE BEST COFFEE IN ROTORUA BY A MILE

Strolled around Rotorua looking for a late lunch – most places had nothing left and kitchens were closed. Called in to Indigo Cafe and they were still pumping away. Had eggs on toast and wow – so yummy. Also had a mocha and I am a coffee drinker and take a good coffee very serious, this was the best mocha I have ever had – perfect amount of coffee and chocolate – YUMMY.

Was so good we went back for breakfast the next day.

Nice atmosphere and colour scheme is very nice, staff we nice too
