One of Wellington’s hidden gems. Great selection of food and wine, and also has BYO option. Hosts are very welcoming, and somewhere that I try to take out of town friends and family to.

This is a little gem in Thorndon!
We moved to the area not long ago and thought we would try it out. I have to say, it was the best tasting Indian I have had in Wellington! They use the best quality ingredients 10/10. There are a couple of really authentic dishes and one in particular that you don’t usually see on Indian menus, the Chicken Ponsonby, is a must try! Their Samosas are divine…so authentic and oh so delicious!!
They also do private catering which is a bonus.
I recommend you try Indus, well worth the trip!
