I really had unpleasant experience eating there, unfriendly service, mistakes in serving food and below expectations food, emailed them explaining what happened and simply got no reply, customers be aware.
Quite a high rating but there is just nothing bad to say about it…
Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. Great menu. Good prices. VERY decent size meals.
I had Spicy Chicken Burger, partner had a Chicken Enchilada. Both were delicious.
Service was nice and quick. Love the atmosphere, the people chatting, music, and the little booths you can sit in to have a bit of a more private dining experience but still get that Irish pub feeling.
Would definitely go back again when feeling like a massive meal for not too much money.

Nice cozy place, friendly staff but the food needs to improve. Been here three times, the battered fish and chips is quite good, the vegetarian lasagna is very bad and the pork roll was OK. The desserts are too sweet (apple crumble and chocolate cake). Hope the food gets better one day to match the service and the place.

Good Points: Despite being busy, it was easy to find a seat and the booths provide the right amount of privacy you need. Waiting staff were friendly. (amazed at how everyone speaks with an irish accent). Good amount of food for the price.
Bad Points: Had to find a space near the register to order. Felt rushed though the ordering process. I had the honey soy pork – honey soy tasted burnt, it was doused in gravy – which tasted like marmite. My partner had the Rib steak – it lacked seasoning eventhough it was also doused in gravy. Honestly it was like someone had just slapped meat on a plate and doused it with gravy. No love and attention to the presentation, quality or taste of the food served which you can tell when eating. Oh and if the menu call for a choice between veges or slaw, don’t worry telling the bar staff, you’ll just get what you’re given.
Would I go there again: Yes definately for a social drink, but not voluntarily for food.

Great atmostphere – even in the morning! Fantastic staff, great location, very cheap and hearty breakfast meals. Will be back when next in Wellington.

A great place for a cold ale or a hearty pub meal. Love the little stained glass booths. Meals are great, good size & quality and even thought they are busy they dont seem to take too long.
