The Japanese Kitchen in Hataitai, Wellington offers traditional, authentic Japanese food for takeaway and for corporate or function catering.
Our head chef is Japanese and has a wealth of authentic Asian food preparation experience in both Japan and New Zealand.
Bento style is our speciality at Japanese Kitchen.
“Bento” is a very popular style of meal in Japan, it comes in a square box with different compartments for the different pieces of food.
We are very keen to encourage cultural relations so over the years we have been very involved in Wellington Japanese Culture week and Japan Crane Support.

There is something on the menu for everyone, and nothings beats eating Japanese kitchen overlooking the Wellington harbour from Mt. Vic so go on….make a healthy take out decision, your heart will love you for it!!!
