Not too sure about their actual food but we did try their ‘Hara Bhara Kebab’ at the Diwali Mela and it honestly, was to die for. The owner Jas Sandhu along with his eversmiling wife Neha served us and it was a true delight just talking to them. They made you feel like they had known for a long time which is what customers want really, good customer service and wholesome food

Awesome wraps – great size, extremely filling and really cheap. Butter chicken wrap is the best!

Too much hype on the radio. The most horrible food. We had Paneer parathas – there was hardly any filling. The paneer tikka had lot of food colour & was raw. No taste at all. The Veg biryani was full of big chunks of potatoes. I think u need to change both ur attitude and the chef. Prices are way too high. I would never go there again and not recommend it to anyone

Eating out in Auckland has never been such a delightful experience.
A few weeks back on a lazy Sunday afternoon, I went to this small shop on Customs street called Jas Parathas.
I had heard a lot about this place from my friends and thought of tryng out some parathas there.
Though the shop was small and did not really have a flash fine dine area yet U had a wonderful lunch because the food was great! Way better than what we get served at some of the finest Indian restaurants in Auckland.
Not to forget the pries were unbelievably reasonable and the service was excellent.
Being in the shop just reminded me of the small dhabas we used to go to in India, which would be set somewhere in the corner of the busy city and would have the best food in town.
Well done team Jas Parathas – keep it up!

totally agreed with last two reviews…
apart from service,, Food quality was so pathetic.
I bought chicken biryani, rice were not cooked, you
can feel the crunchiness when you try to chew rice.
Cant say much about the quality of chicken, Its kind of chicken you usually chuck in the bin…not cooked, more chewy than bubble gum,,
totally NO NO NO…
Better you go hungry than eat at Jas paranthas…

If there was a zero rating this place would deserve that! I completely agree with the comment from Ritesh!
The staff were so slack they didn’t even check the order and we got given something we hadn’t order and as we got takeaway we didn’t find out till we got home! Upon addressing this with them the staff said I should bring it back (all the way from Henderson) and if we ate it we wouldnt get a refund- ridiculous service and its people with this attitude that gives us Indians a bad reputation!!

Poor service, poor attitude of the staff. Excuses for redeeming the voucher that I got from Groupon.
Not recommended, much better options out there.
